One of the main goals of the grants is to facilitate European individuals to acquire skills, techniques as well as knowledge by visiting or working with colleagues in other European or foreign transplant centres. In this respect, ESOT wants to support the learning curve of the individual recipient of a grant and at the same time enhance the development of activities in the field of transplantation in the home and/or host institution after his/her return.
